Dr. Paul C. Vitz

Dr. Paul Vitz is a Professor
of Psychology Emeritus at the
New York University, and a Professor
of Psychology/Senior Scholar
at the Institute for Psychological
Sciences (IPS) in Arlington,
Virginia.
Since getting his doctorate
in experimental psychology at
Stanford University, he has
done extensive research in personality
theory, moral development and
psychology and art.
He is the author of numerous
articles and several books,
the most recent of which is
Faith of the Fatherless:
The Psychology of Atheism.
His currents interests are in
the topics of fatherhood, the
nature of the person, and the
psychology of forgiveness.
