Dr. Russell Hittinger

Since August 2002, Dr. Russell
Hittinger has served as Chair
of the Department of Philosophy
and Religion at the University
of Tulsa, in Oklahoma.
He is also a Research Professor
in the School of Law, specializing
in philosophy of law. In addition
to various posts as visiting
professor at Princeton University,
New York University, and the
Charles University College of
Law in Prague, Dr. Hittinger
has been on the regular faculty
at Fordham University in New
York and at the Catholic University
of America, in Washington DC.
From 1991-1996, he was a Research
Scholar at the American Enterprise
Institute, working on issues
of law and religion. His books
and articles have been published
by the University of Notre Dame
Press, Oxford University Press,
Columbia University Press, Fordham
University Press, the Review
of Metaphysics, the Review of
Politics, as well as various
law journals (both American
and European). His most recent
book The First Grace: Re-Discovering
Natural Law in a Post-Christian
Age was published in Jan.
2003.
