Dr. Michael Foley
Dr. Foley teaches in the Great
Books Program at Baylor University
in Texas. He holds a doctorate
in Systematic Theology with
a minor in Ethics from Boston
College.
His area of specialization
is political, philosophical
and theological thought of St.
Augustine of Hippo. In addition
to numerous scholarly articles,
he is co-editor of Gladly
to Learn and Gladly to Teach:
Essays on Religion and Political
Philosophy in Honor of Ernest
L. Fortin, A. A.
Dr. Foley, who knows Latin,
Greek and Hebrew, is also a
member of the Society of Biblical
Literature and of the North
American Patristics Society.
